Is Baby a penguin, or what?

This is an excellent question. He is a bird, we know that much. We must accept simply that he is sweet, smart, and a baby bird of indeterminate origin and genus.

Who is the bear who appears from time to time, asking about donuts?

Charles "Chubby Al" Albert is a stuffed animal bear that enjoys the finer things in life: namely beer and cheese. He doesn't bother anyone, and leaves no crumb unturned.

What does Floppy do for a living?

Floppy is an independent consultant who crunches numbers and creates reports. He works from home, which is how he came to meet Baby and take him under his wing.

And what about Baby? Why does he work? Isn't he like, 2 years old?

Baby works in the private sector as a file clerk. He's young but not as young as you would think, in bird years.

Why giraffes and penguins?

The penguins were the starting point, but my older brother loves giraffes. I figured, why not?

Jorge: what's the story there?

Jorge is a monkey finger puppet, obsessed with celebrity and fashion. He is Baby's imaginary companion.
